Making a Will   

While no one likes to dwell on what will happen when they’re gone, it is important to ensure you have taken all necessary steps to put your affairs in order.

Leaving clear instructions will give you peace of mind that your final wishes will be followed and that your loved ones will not have additional work to deal with at a future point.

A professional Will sets out:

• who will be responsible for sorting out your affairs when you die
• who will receive your money and property
• Details of funeral arrangements
• who will act as guardians for your children if you should die before they are 18
• who will act as trustees of any monies to be set aside for your children until they are old enough to manage their own affairs.

If you die without leaving a valid Will, then your estate will be subject to intestacy laws. This can create added complications for your surviving relatives and friends.
